Significant Benefits for PRD Jawans Announced
In a move aimed at benefiting the Provincial Development Army (PRD) jawans, the Uttar Pradesh government has increased their daily allowance by ₹100. Additionally, they will now be provided with a cashless medical facility of up to ₹5 lakh.
This announcement was made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a PRD jawan conference held in Gorakhpur, which was broadcast live across all 75 districts of the state. The district-level event in Balrampur's Vikas Bhawan auditorium was attended by Tulsipur MLA Kailash Nath Shukla as the chief guest.
Jawan's Response to Enhanced Benefits
PRD jawans present at the event expressed their happiness with the Chief Minister's announcements. The ₹100 daily increase will raise their allowance from ₹500 to ₹600 per day. The declaration of the ₹5 lakh cashless medical facility has alleviated their health concerns, enabling them to perform their duties with greater dedication.

Addressing the program, MLA Kailash Nath Shukla stated that the state government is committed to the welfare of all sections of society. He lauded the role of PRD jawans, highlighting their crucial support to the administration and police on various occasions. He emphasized that the decision to increase their allowance and provide cashless medical facilities is a significant step forward for their well-being.
District-Level Event Conducted
The district-level program was presided over by the District Youth Welfare and Provincial Development Army Officer. Present at the occasion were Regional Youth Welfare Officer Shakti Mishra, Manoj Kumar Saroj, Senior Assistant Syed Imam Hussain Rizvi, along with a large number of PRD jawans and concerned officials and staff.
