UP Board to Declare Results Soon

The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Asia’s largest examination body, is nearing the end of the result preparation for the 2026 Class 10 and 12 examinations.

Over 5 million students await their results. According to UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, results are expected in the last week of April.

Evaluation Process Completed

The evaluation of answer sheets concluded on April 4, after 15 working days from March 18. The process was extended due to holidays.

A total of 27.5 million answer sheets were evaluated, belonging to roughly 5.34 million students.

153,000 examiners were involved, with strict security measures in place, including CCTV surveillance and a ban on mobile phones.

Student Participation in the Exam

For 2026, 2,761,696 candidates registered for the Class 10 exams.

2,576,082 candidates registered for the Class 12 exams. Approximately 2.6 million appeared for Class 10, and about 2.45 million for Class 12.

Around 287,000 candidates were absent across both levels.

Results Timeline and Expectations

 

"Following the completion of the answer sheet evaluation process, tabulation and data processing are currently underway. It will take approximately 20 to 25 days to prepare the results after evaluation,"

said UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh.

 

Last year's results were announced on April 25, 2025, 23 days after evaluation.

The timely release of results will aid students in planning admissions and career paths.
