Tragic Accident at Narsinghgarh Mine

A serious accident occurred on the Lakhanwas Road in Narsinghgarh, at the MS Vikas Construction mine, resulting in the unfortunate death of truck driver Raju alias Rajendra Vishwakarma. He fell approximately 35 feet deep into the mine.

The incident took place when Raju was talking on his phone at the upper level of the mine and his foot slipped. Workers at the mine rushed to the scene upon hearing a loud noise and discovered Raju had fallen. He was immediately transported to Narsinghgarh Civil Hospital in a critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Allegations and Initial Police Findings

The deceased, Raju Vishwakarma, was a resident of Ward Number Nine in Mehman Ghati. Upon receiving news of the accident, his family arrived at the hospital and made serious allegations against the mine's crusher machine operator, accusing him of assaulting Raju.

However, a preliminary inspection of the scene by the police, along with statements from eyewitnesses including mine workers, has revealed different details. Eyewitnesses reported that Raju appeared to be intoxicated and was standing near his truck while on his mobile phone when he slipped.

Personal Issues Surface During Investigation

Information from both Raju's family and the company management indicated that he had two wives and had been suffering from depression for a considerable period due to marital stress. It was also stated that he frequently consumed alcohol and had attempted self-harm in the past.

Police Investigation Underway

Station House Officer Pooja Solanki stated that the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. The post-mortem examination of the deceased's body is currently being conducted. Official confirmation of the cause of death will be made after the post-mortem report is received.

The police have commenced their investigation considering all possible aspects of the incident and are taking necessary actions.
