Tree Plantation Drive at Madhav College for Environmental Protection

A significant tree plantation program was organized on Friday at the prestigious Madhav Mahavidyalaya campus in Gwalior to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pandey. Members of the college fraternity and the 'Bam Bam Bhole Seva Dal' enthusiastically participated, planting various species of shade and fruit-bearing trees across the campus.

The primary objective of this event was to raise awareness about environmental conservation and ensure a healthy environment for future generations. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Head of the Commerce Department and National Service Scheme Program Officer, stated that everyone should plant at least one tree on their birthday.

He emphasized that if every citizen of society adopts this resolution, we can not only maintain ecological balance but also provide a clean and green environment for future generations. He also added that such events in the field of education inspire students, leading to a greener nation.

Collective Pledge for Environmental Protection

The active participation of the 'Bam Bam Bhole Seva Dal' was particularly noteworthy in this noble endeavor of tree plantation. The members not only contributed to planting the saplings but also pledged to ensure their regular care and preservation. This collaboration underscored the fact that environmental protection is a collective responsibility where various organizations and citizens can work together.

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries from the city and the college, including Principal Dr. Shivkumar Sharma, District Organizer Dr. Manoj Awasthi, Anand Pachauri, and Mr. Subhash Sharma. At the conclusion of the program, all attendees and Seva Dal volunteers pledged to water the newly planted trees and spread the message of environmental protection to all.
