Traffic Relief in Aaron Main Market
Local authorities in Aaron have taken a decisive step to resolve long-standing traffic obstructions in the main market and at the Das Hanuman Temple intersection. Led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manjusha Khatri, a joint operation involving the municipality, revenue department, and police force has cleared temporary encroachments along the main thoroughfare.
The primary objective of this action is to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles for the general public. This move by the administration is expected to reduce traffic congestion in the main market and at the Das Hanuman Temple intersection, areas that have been plagued by traffic jams for years due to temporary shops on pavements and roads.
New Arrangement for Vendors
The administration has identified a new, designated area behind the Das Hanuman Temple for vegetable, fruit, and flower vendors. The municipality has been instructed to ensure regular cleanliness and adequate lighting at this new location to prevent inconvenience to shopkeepers and customers.
The Chief Municipal Officer has been tasked with publicizing this location and installing information boards to ensure widespread awareness. This initiative aims to organize the market and provide a better environment for both sellers and buyers.
Strict Warning Against Encroachment
During the encroachment removal process, officials issued a clear warning to all vendors via loudspeaker. They were informed that shops can now only be set up at the designated location. Any shopkeeper found encroaching on the main road will face strict legal action, including challans and confiscation of goods as per rules. The responsibility for any such violation will lie entirely with the concerned shopkeeper.
This significant operation saw the presence of Tehsildar Dhirendra Gupta, Station House Officer Ravindra Sikarwar, Chief Municipal Officer Dinesh Soni, Executive Magistrate Amit Jain, Sub-Inspector Pankaj Kushwah, Kasba Patwari Anil Dhakan, local police force, municipal employees, and a large number of town residents.
Residents of the town have welcomed the administration's proactive approach, expressing hope that encroachments on main roads will not be permitted in the future. The administration has clarified that this system will continue in the public interest, with strict monitoring of those who violate the rules. Officials have appealed to the shopkeepers for full cooperation in operating business activities in an organized manner.
