Tiranga Yatra Held in Mathura Bazaar, Students Convey Message of Patriotism

The Cliff News | Balrampur | August 10, 2026 A grand Tiranga Yatra was organized on Monday in Mathura Bazaar, located in the Haraiya Satgharwa block of Balrampur. Students of Ram Shankar Bhartiya Inter College participated with great enthusiasm. Regional citizens and activists also registered their presence in this display of patriotism.

The procession was led by Tulshipur MLA Kailash Nath Shukla. Starting from the Ram Shankar Bhartiya Inter College premises, the Tiranga Yatra passed through key locations such as the main road of Mathura Bazaar, the police outpost, and the petrol pump. The journey concluded back at the Inter College campus, via Mathura Ghat Road.

During the Yatra, students waved national flags and chanted patriotic slogans, creating an electrifying atmosphere throughout the bazaar. Local residents also welcomed the procession at various points, appreciating the spirit of national love.

National Pride and the Role of Youth

In his address on the occasion, Tulshipur MLA Kailash Nath Shukla highlighted the significance of the national flag. "The Tiranga is a symbol of our country's honor, pride, and glory," he stated.

The MLA emphasized that such events play a crucial role in developing patriotism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards the country among students and youth. He called upon the youth to remain ever vigilant towards the unity, integrity, and honor of the nation.

Effort to Strengthen National Unity

Mandal Adhyaksh Budhi Sagar Awasthi described the Tiranga Yatra as an effective medium for strengthening the spirit of patriotism and national unity among the youth. Social worker Govind Pathak viewed the event as an opportunity to pledge to uphold the dignity of the national flag and fulfill one's duties and responsibilities towards the country.

A large number of students, citizens, and activists were present in this Tiranga Yatra, including Dilip Dwivedi, Arvind Awasthi, Shivprasad Dwivedi, Govind Pathak, Atul Dwivedi, Janmejay Singh, Sandeep, Ghanshyam Mishra, Lalji Mishra, Virendra Pathak, Ravi Pathak, Dukhiram Mishra, Babadeen, Vinod Arya, Dharamveer Soni, Niranjan Shukla, and Kailash Nath Kasoudhan from Ram Shankar Bhartiya Inter College.
