Grand Tiranga Yatra in Bhind on Independence Day

A magnificent Tiranga Yatra was organized in Bhind on the occasion of India's 79th Independence Day. The event was graced by the presence of Aryika Vigyasa Shri Mataji, who provided her spiritual guidance.

The procession, commencing from the Chaityalaya Jain Temple with full band accompaniment, traversed through prominent areas including Batasa Bazar, Sadar Bazar, Parade Chowk, Bangla Bazar, and Sabzi Mandi before concluding at Jain College.

Leaders Welcome Spiritual Leader

Upon reaching Jain College, officials from the Shri Bhadawar Prantik Digambar Jain Sabha, Jain School, and Jain College warmly welcomed Mataji, performing the ritual of 'pad-prakshalan' (washing of feet).

'Mataji' Emphasizes Bharat Mata and Indian Identity

Addressing the gathered crowd, Aryika Shri 105 Vigyasa Shri Mataji highlighted the significance of August 15th, marking the upcoming 80th anniversary of India's independence. She spoke of India as 'Bharat Mata', emphasizing its unique status as the only country known by a maternal name worldwide.

Mataji stressed India's nurturing nature and its capacity to offer refuge to all nations.

She also recalled India's glorious history, mentioning figures like Shri Ram, Sita, and Shravan. Mataji further elaborated that India derives its name from Bharat, the son of the first Jain Tirthankar, Adinath.

Concerns Over Western Cultural Influence

Mataji drew a distinction between love for the nation and personal freedom. She observed that while India has achieved physical independence, mental liberation is yet to be fully realized.

She expressed concern over the increasing adoption of Western lifestyles, dietary habits, and fashion trends. Commenting on the education system, she noted that children today prefer learning 'ABCD' over traditional Indian alphabets ('अ' to 'ज्ञ').

Previously, education transformed the 'ignorant' into the 'knowledgeable,' but now it teaches from 'Apple' to 'Zebra,' Mataji stated.

Furthermore, she deemed the practice of sending talented children abroad detrimental to the nation, calling it a form of national betrayal.

Program Conduct and Cultural Performances

During the Tiranga Yatra and the subsequent assembly, prominent figures such as the president of Shri Bhadawar Prantik Digambar Jain Sabha, Mukesh Jain; president of D Pharma, Dinesh Jain; lawyers; president of Jain School, Manoj Jain; councilor Anand; and Ashok Mahamaya (Bakery owner), among others, shared their thoughts.

The program was expertly compered by Shelu Jain and Bobby Jain. Many distinguished citizens, including Umesh Jain, Rishi Jain, Amit Jain, Sanjeev Jain, Ballu, Aabha Jain, Pankaj Jain, Sunil Jain, Kamlesh Jain, Tatari, Jay Kumar Jain, Titu Jain, Praveen Jain, Rakesh Jain, Atul Srivastava, Ashish Jain, and Sonal Jain, were in attendance.

The event commenced with captivating cultural performances by the students of Jain School. The 'Mangalacharan' (auspicious invocation) was led by Bal Brahmacharini Radhika Didi, while the 'Shastra Bhent' (offering of scriptures) was conducted by the principals of the school and college.
