Bhopal, July 23, 2026: The capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, witnessed the grand inauguration of a three-day Universal Conquest Grand Sacrifice at Karunadham Ashram on Thursday. The auspicious ceremony commenced with Vedic chants and rituals under the sacred guidance of Peethadheeshwar Gurudev Shri Sudesh Ji Shandilya Maharaj, with the primary objective of praying for the welfare of the nation, society, and the world.

The first day of the grand sacrifice featured special Vedic rituals for the peace, prosperity, and progress of the nation. A large number of devotees, ascetics, and religiously inclined citizens were present in the sacrificial arena. Learned acharyas conducted the 'Havan' (fire ritual) with complete adherence to tradition, during which attending devotees offered oblations. They prayed for the nation's advancement and the well-being of all its people.

In his blessings on this sacred occasion, Gurudev Shri Sudesh Ji Shandilya Maharaj stated that 'Yajna' (sacrifice) is a profoundly noble and ancient tradition of Indian culture. He further elaborated that the act of offering ghee, grains, and herbs purifies the atmosphere and disseminates positive energy.
