Three Arrested in Rajgarh for Rs 5 Lakh Currency Exchange Fraud

Fraud Uncovered in Currency Exchange Scheme
In a significant operation, the Pachor Police in Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, have successfully apprehended three individuals involved in a large-scale fraud scheme operating under the guise of currency exchange. The police have recovered Rs 2.40 lakh in cash from the total defrauded amount of Rs 5 lakh, highlighting the growing trend of financial crimes in the state and the police's vigilance in combating them.
Complaint Sparks Investigation
The case came to light on August 25th when a complainant from Sarangpur filed a report at the Pachor Police Station. The victim alleged that a woman and two men had defrauded them of Rs 5 lakh by deception within the Pachor Mandi, promising currency exchange services.
Swift Action Leads to Arrests and Recovery
In response to the complaint, police immediately registered the case and commenced an investigation. Considering the severity of the incident, a special team was formed under the direction of Superintendent of Police Rajgarh, Mr. Amit Tolani. Under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. K.L. Banjare and SDOP Sarangpur, Mr. Arvind Singh, the team conducted an intensive search for the accused and the recovery of the defrauded funds.
The police team meticulously analyzed CCTV footage from the crime scene and surrounding areas. Based on technical evidence and reliable information received from informants, the suspects were identified. Acting swiftly on an informant's tip, police arrested all three accused individuals.
