T-Series Denies Bhagyashri Borse in Milap Zaveri Film

Production house T-Series has definitively put an end to circulating rumors that actress Bhagyashri Borse has been cast in director Milap Zaveri's next film, which is set to star Aditya Roy Kapur. Despite considerable speculation, an official announcement regarding the female lead opposite Kapur is still pending.

The casting buzz surrounding Borse gained traction following reports that she had been roped in for Zaveri's upcoming directorial venture. These reports suggested a role in a 'violent love story,' a genre Zaveri has explored previously. However, T-Series has now issued a clear statement to counter these claims.

Official Statement from T-Series

A spokesperson for T-Series clarified the situation, stating, “The reports of Bhagyashri Borse being a part of T-Series and Milap Zaveri’s upcoming project with Aditya Roy Kapur are untrue. The production house will officially announce the actress soon.” This statement aims to quell any further speculation regarding Borse's involvement.

Details about the film itself, a collaboration between T-Series, Milap Zaveri, and Aditya Roy Kapur, are being kept under wraps. The identity of the actress who will star opposite Kapur remains a closely guarded secret.

Zaveri's Signature Style

Earlier in July, Milap Zaveri had confirmed to PTI that his next film with Aditya Roy Kapur would indeed be an “intense and violent” love story. He expressed his affinity for the romance genre, citing past successes like 'Marjaavaan' and 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' as evidence of his directorial forte.

“I feel maybe I've found my forte with romance. Earlier, Marjaavaan succeeded in a big way; Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat was a blockbuster,” Zaveri had remarked. “So, romance is a key integral part of my stories, and I think going forward it will remain along with action. So, romance, action, dialogue baazi, these are things I like to do as a director-writer and till audiences like my films, I'll try to keep doing them.”

At that time, Zaveri had refrained from divulging further specifics about the project.

Bhagyashri Borse's Recent Work

Bhagyashri Borse has previously appeared in cameo roles in the 2023 Hindi film Yaariyan 2 and the 2024 film Chandu Champion. Her potential casting in Zaveri's film had generated significant interest within the industry and among fans.
