Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shweta Singh Kirti Makes New Claims About Actor’s Death

Nearly five years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti has reignited public debate, making startling new claims in a recent interview.

Shweta alleged that two psychics — one from the US and another from Mumbai — told her identical accounts, claiming Sushant was “murdered by two people.” She said both approached her independently and did not know each other.

Recounting long-held doubts about the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death, Shweta questioned the physical possibility of suicide, citing the height between the fan and the bed and the marks on his neck, which she said “did not resemble those made by cloth.”

“There was no stool in the room, and the mark looked like a thin chain,” Shweta said, adding that both psychics claimed two men had “come and killed him.”

She also alleged that, according to one psychic, “someone was planted” in Sushant’s life to destabilize him emotionally as he was “rising too fast.” Shweta added that her family initially dismissed claims of “black magic” due to their scientific outlook but later began “questioning everything.”

Shweta also referenced an old Instagram poem by actor Rhea Chakraborty, calling it “strange in retrospect.” The poem, she said, included the line “You are soaring too high and your wings need to be cut.”

Sushant Singh Rajput died at his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020, aged 34. His death sparked nationwide outrage and multiple investigations by the Mumbai Police, CBI, ED, and NCB.

After exhaustive probes, the CBI filed a closure report, finding no evidence of foul play or abetment, and cleared Rhea Chakraborty and others named in related FIRs. The agency concluded that the actor had died by suicide.

Shweta’s latest remarks — combining personal grief, alleged psychic revelations, and lingering doubts — have once again revived online conversations about one of Bollywood’s most heartbreaking cases.
