Sub-Divisional Magistrate Plants Saplings at Kasturba Gandhi School, Urges Students Towards Environmental Protection

Environmental Awareness and Sapling Plantation Drive

A significant event was organized on Thursday at the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Gram Chitauli, Block Fatehpur Western, Tehsil Mirganj, Bareilly. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mirganj, Nidhi Shukla, was present as the chief guest, where she planted saplings within the school premises and conveyed a message of environmental protection to the students.

During the program, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nidhi Shukla personally planted saplings on the school grounds to inspire the students. She stressed that tree plantation not only balances the current environment but also serves as an invaluable heritage for future generations. She urged the students to pledge to regularly care for the planted saplings.

Empowering Girls Through Meena Manch Activities

In addition to tree plantation, the Meena Manch activities formed another crucial part of the program. Through this platform, girls were provided with vital information regarding education, awareness, and various social issues. The primary objective of the Meena Manch is to make girls conscious of their rights and encourage them to play an active role in society.

The teachers and students of the school participated with great enthusiasm throughout the event. On this occasion, the school administration also elaborated on the importance of education in life to the students. The program concluded with a collective pledge for the upkeep of the planted saplings.
