Student Parliament Formed at AIIMS Convent School; Utkarsh and Muskan Elected Leaders
AIIMS Convent School in Balrampur established its Student Parliament, electing Utkarsh Tiwari as Head Boy and Muskan Sheikh as Head Girl.

Student Parliament Inaugurated at AIIMS Convent School
Balrampur, July 25, 2026 – The AIIMS Convent School in Bhagwatiganj Nagar, Balrampur, successfully formed its Student Parliament on Friday. The initiative aims to foster leadership skills and a sense of civic responsibility among students.
During the event, school manager Shravan Kumar Shukla felicitated former principals G.S. Pal and Ravindra Gupta Kamlapuri with angavastras (traditional garments) and mementos. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of a lamp and garlanding of Bharat Mata's portrait by Chief Guest G.S. Pal and Guest of Honour Ravindra Gupta.
Student Leaders Selected for New Parliament
In a significant development for the Student Parliament, Utkarsh Tiwari was chosen as the Head Boy and Muskan Sheikh as the Head Girl. This selection highlights their leadership potential and academic achievements within the school's student community.
Following the election of the Head Boy and Head Girl, captains and vice-captains were also appointed for various houses to encourage active participation in school activities.
New Leadership Appointed for School Houses
For Gandhi House, Samar Pandey was appointed Captain, Shraddha Maurya as Vice House Captain, and Shivansh Gupta as Sports Captain. In Manu House, Savitri Chaurasia will serve as House Captain, Aradhya Sharma as Vice House Captain, and Harinandan Shukla as Sports Captain. These appointments provide students with opportunities to represent their houses and lead in various sporting and cultural events.
Tagore House has appointed Samriddhi Pandey as House Captain, Arpit Kumar as Vice House Captain, and Utkarsh Shukla as Sports Captain. This move further supports the promotion of sports and academic activities within the school.
Similarly, Subhash House leadership includes Neha Maurya as House Captain, Seema Maurya as Vice House Captain, and Satyam Maurya as Sports Captain. Through these appointments, the school reiterates its commitment to strengthening student leadership and preparing them for future responsibilities.

The successful formation of the Student Parliament was made possible by the significant contributions of the school's Principal, Virendra Kumar Shukla, and teachers Sakshi Gupta, Sangeeta Srivastava, Omkar Nath Shukla, Sarthak Shukla, Savitri Singh, Shreya Gupta, Ritu, Soumya, Seeba Komal, Sunita, Annapurna Mathur, and Reena. Their guidance and efforts were instrumental in organizing this event.
