Student Dies Following Alleged Teacher Beating

In Sahuapur village, under Pachdeora police station in Farrukhabad district, a 13-year-old eighth-grade student, Kshama Dixit, died during treatment after allegedly being beaten by her teacher. Her father has filed a formal complaint with the police, accusing teacher Rajendra Gangwar of severe assault.

Allegations of Brutal Assault

According to the family, Kshama's condition deteriorated, leading to her death, due to the teacher's alleged beating. The incident occurred on August 20 on the school premises when Kshama had an argument with another student. When she approached teacher Rajendra Gangwar to report the matter, the family claims the teacher allegedly twisted her arm and beat her severely. Her health began to decline immediately afterwards.

Delayed Treatment and Deteriorating Health

Initially, the teacher reportedly offered to arrange for Kshama's treatment, but two days later, he allegedly disclaimed responsibility. Noticing their daughter's worsening condition, Kshama's family took her to Lohia Hospital on August 23. When her condition did not improve there, she was admitted to a private hospital. Kshama succumbed to her injuries on Sunday while undergoing treatment, plunging the family into deep mourning. Her mother, Sangeeta Devi, and other relatives are inconsolable.

Police Action and Investigation

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police took possession of the student's body and sent it for post-mortem examination. The Superintendent of Police stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted based on the family's complaint and the post-mortem report. Strict legal action will be taken against the teacher if found guilty, according to the investigation's findings. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of children in educational institutions in the region.
