Horrific Incident Unfolds in Bhind

A deeply disturbing incident has come to light in the Thana Barohi area of Bhind district, where a stepfather allegedly committed rape against his own minor daughter. The crime is reported to have occurred on the night of October 17, 2026, around 10 PM, while the victim was asleep in her room.

Swift Police Action and Reporting

The police have taken swift action in this case, apprehending the accused within hours of the incident. The incident came to light after the victim, having taken her mother to the hospital, mustered the courage to narrate her ordeal to her maternal uncle. Following her uncle's advice, the victim proceeded to the police station to file a report.

Legal Proceedings Initiated

The police immediately registered a case under crime number 67/26. The accused faces charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 65(2), 64(2)(f), and 64(2)(m), as well as multiple sections of the POCSO Act. The case has been registered accordingly.

Investigation and Arrest

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma and Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Patel, a special team was formed to investigate this serious matter. Led by Station House Officer Atul Bhadauria, the police team actively pursued the case and took the accused into custody from Ladampura. During initial interrogation, the accused has reportedly confessed to his crime.

The police have stated that given the gravity of the case, further legal proceedings are being completed based on evidence to ensure justice for the victim as swiftly as possible.
