'Blue Day' Event Held at St. Xavier's School, Balrampur

The primary wing of St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School in Balrampur city successfully organized a grand 'Blue Day' celebration on Friday, July 24, 2026. The main objective of this event was to make young children aware of the importance of the color blue, its widespread presence in nature, and its associated benefits.

This event proved to be particularly engaging and informative for students from Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The children enthusiastically participated in various colorful activities. These included the creation of imaginative artwork such as 'Cloud Rain Drop', 'Peacock Making Using Palm Print', and 'Blue Jellyfish Making'. The classrooms were also beautifully decorated with blue hues, fostering a pleasant and educational atmosphere.

Significance of Blue and Educational Objectives

The chief guests, School Director Sujata Anand, Ishika Suyash Anand, Principal Dr. B. Krishna Mohan, and Program Coordinator Indu Nair, lauded the children's enthusiasm. School Director Mrs. Ishika Suyash Anand familiarized the children with the symbolic meanings of the color blue. She explained that blue represents peace, depth, trust, the sky, and the sea. She added that this color helps in calming the mind and enhancing concentration.

The school management believes that such color-themed events play a significant role in children's education. They not only make the learning process interesting but also help children understand various symbolic values of colors and their applications through them. Through this program, children were introduced to the psychological and symbolic aspects of colors along with artistic activities.
