The Cliff News | Balrampur | July 24, 2026. St. Xavier's School in Balrampur successfully organized a mehndi competition on Friday, aimed at fostering creativity among its female students. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic flair, decorating their hands with captivating and intricate mehndi designs.

Under the direction of Kanchan Srivastava, the competition saw encouragement from the school's Principal, Krishna Mohan, and Director, Suyash Anand. They inspired the students to actively participate in such activities.

Student Participation and Artistic Display

A large number of students enthusiastically participated, adorning their wrists and hands with beautiful designs. The artistic presentations and outcomes were remarkable, with numerous students like Noor Fatima, Ariba Khan, Anamika, Parveen, Khushnuma, Shifa, Tasmeen, Sambhavi, Archana, Ruhma, Aradhya, Anushka, Bhumika, Vartika, Afia, Vaishnavi, Tanvi, Samriddhi, Shidra, Pari, and Zara displaying exceptional artistic skill.

Students presented a blend of traditional and modern designs, making the judges' evaluation a challenging task. The competition culminated with the announcement of the results, where Lily House secured the first position with their outstanding performance.

House-wise Rankings and Competition Highlights

Tulip House clinched the second position with its exquisite designs. A close competition for the third spot ensued between Lavender House and Orchid House, which ultimately ended in a tie.

The successful organization of the event involved the significant contribution of several teachers. Pushpa Yadav, Yatibanka, Jyoti Tiwari, Richa Agarwal, Rubina, and Akanksha provided active support throughout the program.

Judging Panel and Management's Appreciation

The judging panel included Coordinators Rekha Thakur and Indu Gupta, who assessed the students' art based on innovation in designs and overall creativity. The school management congratulated all participating students for their hard work and excellent performance.

The management emphasized that such competitions not only promote creativity among students but also foster confidence and a spirit of healthy competition, crucial for their overall personality development.
