The main Independence Day ceremony for Damoh district was held at the Tehsil ground on August 15, 2026. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts & Endowments, Mr. Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, hoisted the national flag and took the salute.
Despite heavy rains, residents of Damoh district demonstrated immense patriotic spirit, participating in large numbers. Minister of State Mr. Lodhi extended warm wishes for Independence Day and shared the message of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav with the attendees.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Lodhi expressed his privilege to hoist the flag in Damoh and highlighted that everyone had heard the Chief Minister's address. The event also included a presentation of Damoh district's achievements.
