A runaway truck collided with and overturned onto a police Dial 112 vehicle near the Ruthiyai-Gopi Sagar Dam in Guna, narrowly missing two officers.

Major Road Accident in Dharnavada
A serious road accident occurred near the Ruthiyai-Gopi Sagar Dam intersection in the Dharnavada police station area of Guna district. An uncontrolled and speeding truck forcefully collided with a police Dial 112 FRV vehicle, causing the truck to flip onto its side.
Officers Safely Evade Danger
The incident took place around 6:30 PM. At the time, Dial 112 pilot Makhan Singh Gurjar and Head Constable Girraj Dhakad were present, assisting in righting a previously overturned tractor-trolley with a crane. The truck, registered in Rajasthan with number RJ 11-1373, was allegedly driven by a negligent and excessively speeding driver who struck the stationary police vehicle.
Fortunately, both police personnel had moved away from the vehicle just moments before the collision. Their quick reaction and alertness prevented them from being crushed under the truck, thus averting any loss of life or property. Had they not moved, the incident could have escalated into a major accident, potentially causing severe injuries or fatalities to the officers.
Investigation Underway
Immediate reports of the accident were sent to the control room and senior police officials. Upon receiving the information, authorities arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Following an inspection, a case has been registered against the truck driver for negligent driving under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The police are currently searching for the accused truck driver, and further legal action will be taken after his interrogation. This incident has once again highlighted the dangers of speeding and reckless driving.
