Special Campaign for Voter List Enrollment Starts

Balrampur | October 14, 2026 – In line with directives from the Election Commission of India, a special campaign to enroll eligible citizens in the voter list has commenced today, October 14, 2026, in Balrampur district. The primary objective of this initiative is to further strengthen democracy by ensuring every eligible individual is listed.

District Magistrate and District Election Officer Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain stated that to ensure the smooth execution of this campaign, a total of 1805 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are actively working across all polling booths in the district. Additionally, 24 Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and 04 Electoral Registration Officers are involved in coordinating this process.

Special Dates for Voters

On the upcoming dates of October 17 and October 24, 2026, BLOs will be present at all 1805 polling booths from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM as part of this special campaign. They will provide the latest copies of the voter list and Form-6, enabling interested citizens to get their names added.

The District Magistrate specifically appealed to the youth and women voters to take advantage of this opportunity. He urged all eligible citizens whose names may not have been included in the voter list for any reason to visit their respective booths and register.

Effort to Empower Democracy

The district administration is committed to ensuring that no eligible voter is left out of this crucial process. Efforts are underway to guarantee that every citizen can exercise their democratic right, with enrollment in the voter list being the first step.

Citizens are encouraged to actively participate not only themselves but also to inform and raise awareness among their acquaintances and relatives whose names are not yet registered. This collective effort aims to make the nation's democracy more robust and inclusive. The administration reiterates its appeal to all eligible individuals to visit their nearest booth on the designated dates, fill out Form-6, and get their names registered in the voter list.
