Elderly Welfare Initiative

Farrukhabad, October 1, 2026 - Social worker Sadhana Rajput visited an old age home in the Kadri Gate area of Farrukhabad, serving as a pillar of support for its residents. She distributed essential food items, fruits, and biscuits to approximately 30 to 35 needy elderly women residing at the facility.

The elderly women expressed their gratitude with renewed smiles upon receiving the aid and offered heartfelt blessings to Sadhana for her benevolent act. This initiative proved to be a significant source of encouragement for the elderly individuals living on the fringes of society.

Sadhana Rajput, a twenty-year-old resident of Madhavpur village in the Kamalgaj block, played a crucial role in this service, accompanied by her associates Sanjeev Batham and Anurag Kanojia. Sadhana shared that this spirit of service was inherited from her parents, who always taught her that serving others, especially the poor and helpless, is the greatest dharma.

Extending Support to the Homeless

Sadhana Rajput's charitable work did not end at the old age home. She also proceeded to the vicinity of the Hanuman Temple in Bholapur to provide food and other essential supplies to homeless individuals who are compelled to beg for a living.

Sadhana described this as an integral part of her upbringing, emphasizing that the blessings received from selfless service open the path to true success and satisfaction in life. She believes such actions not only offer immediate relief to the needy but also foster compassion and cooperation within society.

Preparations Underway for Gandhi Jayanti Event

With an unwavering commitment to social service, Sadhana Rajput is now preparing for another significant event. On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on October 2, she is planning to organize a special assistance camp in the Kamalgaj block.

The primary objective of this camp is to provide food supplies to all needy individuals and families in the area who are struggling to meet their basic daily needs. Sadhana's ultimate goal is to bring about a positive and lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized members of society. Her continuous humanitarian approach and ground-level efforts are widely appreciated in the local community, inspiring her to undertake more service activities.
