The newly appointed aldermen include Shivprasad Vaidh, Ramesh Malviya, Sheela Khatri, Gokul Kushwah, Than Singh Gurjar, and Dinesh Nagar. On Tuesday, MLA Mohan Sharma, representing the Narsinghgarh constituency and a BJP member himself, welcomed all the newly appointed aldermen at his residence in Bhopal with traditional garlands.
On this occasion, MLA Sharma extended his best wishes to the newly appointed members and wished them well for their tenure. The newly appointed aldermen expressed their gratitude to the BJP leadership.

It is noteworthy that the Madhya Pradesh government had appointed 492 aldermen in 123 municipalities across the state on March 29, 2026, under which this appointment process has moved forward. MLA Mohan Sharma has been elected MLA from Narsinghgarh in 2003, 2008, and 2023.
