Priyanshi's Path to Success

Priyanshi Sunda, a farmer’s daughter from Sikar, Rajasthan, achieved a near-perfect score of 599 out of 600 in the Class 10 board exams. This translates to 99.83 per cent. She missed full marks by only one mark in English.

She is a student of Shekhawati School in Losal. Priyanshi's success is attributed to consistent study habits and effective time management.

"I focused on revising well before the exams, which helped me a lot. I used mobile phones and watched TV, but reduced screen time significantly before exams. I stayed away from social media and concentrated on studies,"

Priyanshi hails from Sangalia village in Sikar. Her father, Sitaram Sunda, is a farmer, and her mother, Sunita Devi, is a homemaker.

She credited her parents and school staff for her success. This includes school director BL Ranwa and her teachers.

Sikar's Academic Standing

Sikar secured a 97.43 per cent pass percentage, ranking third in the state. Jhunjhunu topped with 97.77 per cent, followed by Didwana-Kuchaman at 97.59 per cent.

The region is known as an education hub. It consistently produces top-performing students.

Girls Outperform Boys

Girls outperformed boys in the Class 10 results. 74.26 per cent of girls secured first division, compared to 66.51 per cent of boys.

In Sikar, the pass percentage for girls was 97.48 per cent, while for boys it was 97.38 per cent.

Key Changes in Board Exams

The Class 10 results were declared before Class 12 results, a first for the Rajasthan Board. Results were released in March.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education also announced Classes 5 and 8 results on the same day. The new academic session will begin from April 1.

Top Districts Compete

Districts like Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Nagaur have been competing for top positions. Didwana-Kuchaman secured the second spot this year.
