Sidhu's Blistering Attack

Former Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu has launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi. She accused him of being "disconnected from ground realities."

Sidhu alleges that Gandhi has failed to act against corruption within the Punjab Congress unit. She made these accusations while addressing the media in Coimbatore, according to PTI.

Corruption Allegations

Sidhu claims Gandhi's inaction is damaging the party's prospects in Punjab. She alleged that his inner circle is involved in selling election tickets.

"Rahul Gandhi talks good. He talks sense. But what he does and what he says is very different... They have already sold the tickets,"

said Sidhu.

Demands for Action

Sidhu stated she has been trying to get a meeting with Gandhi for the past eight months. She wants to inform him about the alleged wrongdoings in Punjab.

"If you are not aware of what is happening beneath you, then I am sorry. You do not deserve that chair,"

Sidhu added.

Promises Unfulfilled

Sidhu alleges that promises made to her regarding positions and responsibilities in Punjab were not kept.

"We left everything for Punjab, and you promised us a deputy CM post with seven departments and me as an MP, but you gave us nothing,"

she claimed.

Ground Reality Check

Sidhu emphasized the importance of being grounded and aware of the situation on the ground. She criticized Gandhi for allegedly living in a dream world.

"Probably it is been gifted to him. He has not worked his way through the lower steps to actually be on the lower ground,"

said Sidhu.

Praise for Modi

In a surprising turn, Sidhu praised PM Modi's integrity. She claimed that there are no corruption allegations against him.

"You can point a finger at PM Modi... Does he have a penny? Does he have a file against him? Try touching him personally. There is nothing against him,"

Sidhu added.

What to Watch Next

The Congress party's response to these allegations will be closely watched. It remains to be seen whether Rahul Gandhi will address the concerns raised by Sidhu and what impact this will have on the political landscape of Punjab.
