The team behind the highly anticipated religious film 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha,' produced under the banner of AJ Film Production and directed by Abhishek Singh, visited Raipur and Bhilai for promotional activities. During their visit, the cast engaged with the city residents, particularly the youth, and provided detailed information about the film.

This film is scheduled for a nationwide release in cinemas on September 25th. Notably, it will be screened in both Hindi and Chhattisgarhi languages. The main cast members interacted with people at Anjaneya University Mall in Raipur and at Sanjay Rungta College, Surya Mall, Sector 9 Hanuman Mandir, and Khursipar Ganesh Pandal in Bhilai.

In a press conference held at Rungta Institute College, the film's producers, director, and actors shared their experiences related to the movie. They also expressed their views on career, life's challenges, and important values for the youth.

In 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha,' Dev Sharma portrays the role of Lord Rama, while Anjali Arora plays Sita and Shail Verma appears as Lakshmana.

The film is directed by renowned director Abhishek Singh, and its producers are Prakash Mahobia and Sanjay Bundela. Rajnish Duggal essays the role of Ravana, Nirbhay Wadhwan is Hanuman, and Neeraj Uike brings Vibhishana to life.

Dev Sharma: 'I Wasn't Chosen by Ram, Ram Chose Me'

Dev Sharma, who plays Lord Rama, described the experience of portraying this sacred character on the land of Chhattisgarh as special. Born in Punjab and raised in Delhi-Mumbai, Dev Sharma stated, "I didn't sign this film; rather, I felt that Lord Rama himself chose me for this role."

He urged the youth to recognize that both virtuous and negative tendencies exist within every individual; it is up to us to decide which path we choose. He appealed to the youth to walk the path of truth and integrity and to cultivate positivity within themselves.

Shail Verma, who plays Lakshmana: 'Recognize Your Talent, Work Hard'

Shail Verma, who portrays Lakshmana, hails from the Durg region of Chhattisgarh. He shared that during his third semester of engineering, he developed a deep interest in acting. Driven by this passion, he sought acting opportunities and eventually made his way to Mumbai.

He has previously worked in several television serials and Chhattisgarhi films. Shail Verma advised the youth to identify their hidden talents and interests, work diligently with full dedication, and never shy away from any challenge.

Local artists from Chhattisgarh also played significant roles in the film.
