Balrampur | September 4, 2026 | The students of St. Xavier's Disney World School in Balrampur celebrated the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with immense joy and devotion on Friday. A devotional atmosphere permeated the school premises as children brought Lord Krishna's childhood pastimes to life through lively performances.

Devotional Start and Captivating Costumes

The program commenced with the worship and veneration of Lord Krishna. Children dressed as Radha and Krishna captivated everyone with their enchanting costumes. Their peacock feather crowns, flutes, and the beautiful portrayal of Radha by the girls were a major highlight.

Children's Performances Mesmerize Audience

The young Kanhas and girls of the school delivered spectacular dance performances dedicated to Lord Krishna. A dance based on the song “Krishna Hai” left the audience spellbound, while an energetic rendition of “Mach Gaya Shor Sari Nagri Mein” filled the entire atmosphere with enthusiasm and gaiety. The innocent expressions and synchronized movements of the children compelled everyone present to applaud.

Live Depiction of Childhood Leelas

The most exciting part of the Janmashtami celebration was the Matki Phod competition. The little Krishnas enthusiastically broke the matki, vividly recreating Lord Krishna's childhood exploits. The children's excitement was palpable throughout, reflecting their active participation.

During the event, teachers shared information with the children about Lord Krishna's life, his childhood pastimes, and the importance of love, friendship, truth, and righteousness in a simple and engaging manner.
