Background of the Case
The case is linked to the death of businessman Shiva Sharma, who fell from the fourth floor of Awadh Green Apartment in Hazratganj, Lucknow, on October 9. Based on a complaint filed by Shiva's mother, Ranjana Sharma, the police registered a murder case.
Initially, the arrested main accused, Shraddha Dubey, denied the allegations, claiming Shiva's death was a suicide. However, police investigations suggest otherwise.
Police Investigation Underway
During the police investigation, it emerged that prior to their arrest, Shraddha Dubey, her sister, and the driver were evading authorities, moving between various locations. The police conducted searches in multiple cities and located them using CCTV footage and other clues.
Now, after being brought to Lucknow, the police will conduct detailed interrogations with the trio regarding the circumstances of the incident, their movements, and other crucial aspects of the case. The confirmation of the allegations and the determination of the accused's guilt will be based solely on the evidence presented in court and the established legal procedures.
