Tobi Lütke, CEO of Shopify, recently revealed how he leveraged AI to resolve an issue with accessing his annual MRI scan data. Instead of using the required commercial Windows software, he used AI to create a streamlined, web-based viewer.

Lütke explained that he ran Claude AI directly on the USB stick containing his MRI data. He instructed the AI to generate an HTML-based viewer for the information. He even used another prompt to annotate the MRI scans.

"My annual MRI scan gives me a USB stick with the data, but you need this commercial Windows software to open it. Ran Claude on the stick and asked it to make me an HTML-based viewer tool. This looks... way better."

Lütke shared his experience on X, demonstrating the ease and improved accessibility of his AI-generated viewer. He emphasized how naturally he turned to AI for a solution.

 

"btw this is a good example of what i meant with "reflexively" reaching for AI. You tinker with AI for a while, and you just reach for this. This was an obvious thing to try when I saw I needed to use Windows and was on my Mac. You want to train your brain on this intuition."
