Shivpuri Police Inaugurates 'Jhula Ghar' to Enhance Childcare for Officers' Children

'Jhula Ghar' Launched at Shivpuri Police Control Room to Improve Childcare for Police Personnel

An important initiative has been taken in the Shivpuri district to boost the efficiency of police officers and personnel and ensure proper care for their young children during duty hours. On Sunday, Superintendent of Police Shivpuri, Smt. Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia, inaugurated a modern 'Jhula Ghar' (creche) at the Police Control Room Shivpuri.

The inauguration of this newly constructed facility, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, signals significant relief for police personnel's families. Present at the occasion were Additional Superintendent of Police R.D. Prajapati, CSP Sachin Kumar Dhurve, Reserve Inspector Anil Kavrety, city station house officers, and other police personnel with their children. This event not only marked the launch of the facility but was made more special by the presence of community members.

Paving the Way for Stress-Free Duty for Police Personnel

Shedding light on the objective behind this initiative, Superintendent of Police Smt. Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia stated that police personnel are continuously working to maintain law and order and ensure societal safety. Often, due to their young children, they face considerable mental pressure in balancing duty and family responsibilities.

She expressed confidence that with the launch of this 'Jhula Ghar', police personnel in Shivpuri district can now discharge their duties stress-free, as the responsibility of caring for their children during duty hours will now be managed by the police family itself.

'Jhula Ghar' Equipped with Modern Facilities

Special attention has been paid to making the newly constructed 'Jhula Ghar' child-friendly. It has been made extremely attractive and colorful, with a variety of toys and educational play materials available for children's entertainment.

Comfortable cradles and mattresses have been arranged for the comfort of young children, and a pantry area has also been set up for providing nutritious meals. Female police personnel or dedicated staff have been deployed for the safe care of the children. For security purposes, CCTV cameras have also been installed throughout the premises to monitor the activities of the children.

This facility will help police personnel effectively perform their professional duties while ensuring their children remain in a safe and pleasant environment.
