Juveniles Apprehended with Stolen Vehicles

In a significant operation against vehicle thieves, the Shamsabad Police Station in Farrukhabad district has apprehended three juveniles. The police also recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession, marking a crucial success in the ongoing special campaign to curb rising vehicle theft incidents in the area.

Motorcycle Recovery and Investigation

The recovered motorcycles include two HF Deluxe models and one Hero Splendor. Preliminary investigations reveal that one of the stolen bikes is linked to a theft case registered in the Kadri Gate police station area. Another stolen motorcycle was taken from Patiyali, Kasganj district, suggesting an inter-district vehicle theft racket.

Further Investigation Underway

The origin of the third stolen motorcycle is still under investigation, as the police aim to identify its source and potentially apprehend other gang members. The apprehended juveniles are facing legal proceedings under Section 317 (2) and 317 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertain to offenses committed by minors. The police are actively involved in further legal actions, including interrogation and placement in a juvenile observation home.

Successful Operation Led by Special Team

This successful operation was conducted by a special police team led by Station House Officer Sachin Singh Chaudhary, which included Sub-Inspectors Anuj Kumar and Pradeep Kumar, along with Constable Momraj and other personnel. The Fatehgarh Police have lauded this arrest as a major achievement in curbing vehicle theft and have assured the continuation of such campaigns.
