Shah Rukh Khan Unveils Teaser of ‘King’ on His 60th Birthday; Deepika Padukone to Star Opposite Him

On his 60th birthday, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan gave fans the ultimate gift — the title reveal teaser of his much-awaited action film King, directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously collaborated with SRK on the blockbuster Pathaan.

The teaser opens with SRK’s intense voiceover:

“How many people did I kill? I don’t know… I am not fear. I am destruction.”

Accompanied by explosive visuals and high-octane action, the teaser showcases the superstar in two striking avatars — one salt-and-pepper, and another sporting his signature long hair, hinting at a layered, dual-shade role.

The film, backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead — marking her sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh. The ensemble also features Suhana Khan in her big-screen debut and Jaideep Ahlawat in a key role.

King is set for a theatrical release in 2026, with more details about the plot and crew to be revealed in the coming months.
