'Seva Jyoti Yatra' Launched in Balrampur
As part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi's glorious 25 years of service to the nation, the 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' was grandly inaugurated in Balrampur. The event, held at Balrampur's Sports Stadium on Wednesday, saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath address the assembled public virtually.
Following the virtual address, the yatra was dispatched to all assembly constituencies within the Balrampur district. Its mission is to convey the message of public welfare schemes to every citizen. The yatra's in-charge and state minister, Satish Sharma, emphasized that the Prime Minister's public life has been entirely dedicated to good governance, national service, and the welfare of the poor.
State BJP Minister Rajni Pandey reiterated the BJP's core principle of 'Service and Organization,' expressing confidence that under the Prime Minister's leadership, the country has achieved unprecedented heights in development and public welfare. She stated that the nation's image has transformed over the past twenty-five years, empowering the common citizen.
Disseminating Public Welfare Schemes
BJP District President Ravi Mishra detailed extensive preparations at every organizational level to make the yatra historic in Balrampur. He assured that active participation of workers at the booth level is being ensured for the message to effectively reach all citizens.
District Panchayat President Dr. Aarti Tiwari lauded the public welfare schemes of the central and state governments, noting their continuous work towards uplifting the most deprived sections of society. She specifically highlighted schemes like the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat, which have positively impacted millions of lives.
'Seva Jyoti Yatra' will serve as a powerful medium to communicate these achievements and efforts to the masses. The journey will also bring forth stories of millions who have improved their living standards by benefiting from these schemes. Beyond disseminating information on government schemes, the yatra aims to understand their ground-level implementation and public expectations.
During the yatra, party workers will organize community gatherings (chaupals) in villages and towns and engage in direct dialogue with people. This interaction will provide feedback to the government, enabling further improvements in schemes. The initiative also underscores the BJP's commitment to transparent and effective governance.
Emphasis on Dedication and Nation Building
During the inauguration, local MLAs Paltu Ram, Kailash Nath Shukla, and Ram Pratap Verma shared their thoughts. They described the Prime Minister's dedication to the nation as inspirational for all, stating that this 25-year journey symbolizes the trust and aspirations of millions of Indians.
Former MLA Shailesh Kumar Singh deemed the Prime Minister's contribution to making India self-reliant and developed as crucial. He cited initiatives like 'Make in India,' 'Digital India,' and 'Skill India' for strengthening the country's economy and creating new employment opportunities for youth.
Municipal Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh stated that service is the BJP's true identity, and this yatra will carry this principle to the people. He asserted that for the BJP, politics is not merely about gaining power but a means of service.
Program convenor Dr. Ajay Singh provided details of all necessary preparations for the yatra's success, assuring widespread public participation. He mentioned that welcome gates will be erected at significant spots along the yatra's route to encourage local community involvement.
