The Government Higher Secondary School in Bhadaura village, Guna district, hosted a significant event under the 'Service Commitment Campaign' with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad. Aiming to promote environmental conservation, a 'Triveni' group of Neem, Bargad, and Peepal saplings was planted on the school premises.
The primary objective is to green the school campus and foster a sense of responsibility towards nature in the younger generation. This initiative represents a conscious effort to improve the local environment and pave the way for a sustainable legacy for future generations.
Pledges for Cleanliness and Plant Care
During the event, District Coordinator Manjusha Saloman, the chief guest, addressed the students, stating that cleanliness is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle. She stressed that hygiene is not just a habit but the foundation for building positive thinking and a bright future.
Saloman explained how a clean environment not only promotes physical health but also enhances mental peace and concentration. The students listened attentively and vowed to adopt this message in their lives, committing to staying clean and inspiring others.
Block Coordinator Amit Goyal, while elaborating on the importance of environmental conservation, encouraged the youth to regularly care for the planted saplings. He emphasized that planting is only the first step; protection is equally crucial.
Goyal noted that these trees will provide shade and oxygen while enriching local biodiversity. He advised the students to nurture each plant as if it were their own child.
