Teachers of Bihar Promote Safety Awareness Through 'Secure Saturday' Quiz

In a bid to foster the spirit of 'Secure Saturday' and 'Bagless Day' across Bihar, the organization Teachers of Bihar conducted a 'Monthly Safety Quiz'. Teachers from all over the state participated enthusiastically in this online special quiz, which placed significant emphasis on enhancing safety awareness within schools.

Digital Certificates for Excellence

Approximately 2500 teachers were honored with digital certificates for their outstanding performance in the quiz. The primary objective of this safety quiz was to sensitize teachers about preventive measures for various types of disasters and emergency situations.

Quiz Content and Teacher Engagement

The quiz featured 20 crucial questions covering vital topics such as flood and water safety, lightning protection, safety from venomous creatures like snakes and scorpions, and precautions during boat accidents. Teachers effectively demonstrated their knowledge and awareness regarding safety measures through their responses to these questions.

Shiv Kumar, Founder of Teachers of Bihar, and Technical Team Leader E. Shivendra Prakash Suman jointly stated that the 'Secure Saturday' program is proving to be a highly effective medium for increasing awareness about disaster management and safety among children and teachers. They added that such activities are being conducted on a larger scale using digital platforms.

Event Leader Keshav Kumar and Quiz Creator Pappu Kumar Pankaj attributed the success of the quiz to the active participation of teachers, noting that their enthusiastic presence made the event a success.
