Protest Launched Against Government Policies

The Sarvasamaj Sangharsh Morcha has initiated an indefinite sit-in protest in Guna, demonstrating against the policies of the central and state governments. Members of the Morcha voiced their concerns with slogans such as 'Education Monopoly Will Not Be Tolerated' and 'United Society – Strong Society'.

Demands Presented by Protesters

The protesters have demanded that the government immediately withdraw the new University Grants Commission (UGC) rules, revoke proposed amendments to the reservation system, and halt changes to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) Act. Speakers at a rally at the protest site described these policies as a direct assault on the nation's social rights.

Protesters chanted slogans like 'We Will Not Tolerate Loot of Rights' and 'Withdraw the Black Law,' strongly condemning the government's stance.

Government Warned of Escalation

The protestors have cautioned the government, stating that if anti-people and anti-social policies are not withdrawn, the protest will intensify.
