Samajwadi Party Holds Public Gatherings in Kaimganj, Setting the Stage for 2027 Elections, Emphasizing PDA Unity

Uttar Pradesh Gears Up for 2027 Polls with Samajwadi Party's Ground Mobilization

With the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh on the horizon, political parties have intensified their grassroots activities. In this regard, the Samajwadi Party has begun sharpening its strategy for the upcoming polls by organizing 'PDA Jan Chaupal' and 'Jan Panchayats' in the Kaimganj assembly constituency of Farrukhabad.

These events, held in Gram Paurari, Sivara Road Kampil, and Sikandarpur, saw a large turnout of local villagers and party workers. The chief guest at these Jan Chaupals, Daljit Nishad, former district president of Fatehpur and a state executive member, launched a strong attack on the BJP government.

Allegations of Rising Crime and Farmer Distress

Daljit Nishad alleged that goondaism has increased in the state under the current government's protection, with members of the PDA (Pichda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak - Backward, Dalit, Minority) community becoming its victims. Highlighting the plight of farmers, Nishad stated that despite the government's promise to 'double incomes,' farmers are struggling for fertilizers and are forced to commit suicide due to not receiving fair prices for their crops.

He further added that the government has stopped releasing figures on farmer suicides, which is a matter of serious concern. Touching upon the curse of paper leaks affecting the future of educated youth, Nishad expressed confidence that the entire PDA community will unite in the upcoming elections to defeat the BJP and form a government with a full majority under the leadership of Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav.

Former MLA Criticizes Administrative Corruption

The organizer of the program and former MLA of Kaimganj, Ajit Katheria, launched sharp attacks on the local administration and government systems. He described police stations and tehsils as major hubs of corruption, where common people have to suffer to get justice.

Katheria alleged that Lekhpals and Panchayat Secretaries have stationed their agents in villages, through whom poor and uneducated people are being exploited and defrauded. He expressed concern over the rising crime rate in the state, citing data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

A large number of senior party officials, workers, and local villagers were present at these Jan Panchayats, including Ajit Yadav, Ilyas Mansoori, Bablu Katheria, Nazim Qureshi, Indresh Yadav, Riyasuddin, Dr. Munnallal Batham, Anurag Batham, Mansingh Batham, Rambharose Batham, Bhupal Singh Shakya, Dr. Kishanpal Kashyap, and Zaheer Khan. This event is seen as part of the Samajwadi Party's public outreach activities in anticipation of the upcoming assembly elections.
