Salman Khan’s nephew Ayaan Agnihotri gets engaged to Tina Rijhwani

Posting the photos, Ayaan wrote, “Leaving my girlfriend behind in 2025,” adding a playful and heartfelt note to the milestone moment. The post quickly drew attention, with fans, friends and well-wishers pouring in congratulatory messages in the comments section.

Rising presence in music

Ayaan Agnihotri has recently been making headlines for his growing presence in the music industry. Salman Khan, who attended the launch, jokingly teased his nephew about the “nepotism tag,” a remark that drew attention online.

Why he goes by ‘Agni’

In an earlier interaction with India Today Digital, Ayaan spoke about adopting the stage name Agni and his philosophy towards music. He revealed that when he began writing music seven to eight years ago, he wanted the focus to remain on expression rather than identity.

“I wanted to build a faceless account and just express my thoughts and emotions. I also wanted it to have something to do with me yet be ambiguous enough, so I took ‘Agni’ from my surname. It is also a powerful element and, in the hip-hop community, ‘burn’ means you did well. So everything aligned with the name,” he said.
