The Cliff News | Bhind | August 19, 2026. A grand 'Guru Ravidas Maharaj Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan evam Yatra' is being organized to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji.

This multi-faceted campaign will run with complete dedication from August 20, 2026, to September 10, 2026. The primary objective of this journey is to convey the ideals of the great Saint Ravidas, his profound philosophical thoughts, and especially his universal message of equality, devotion, service, social justice, and humanity to every section of society and ensure its widespread dissemination.

The formal commencement of this significant campaign will take place on August 20 at the Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Ashram, Mandi Prangan, Mehgaon, District Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, with a dignified Kalash Bandhan and honor ceremony. Following this ceremony, a sacred Kalash and a specially prepared Kalash Rath will be kept for darshan at local Ravidas temples, after which this Rath Yatra will reach various villages and towns at its scheduled stops, where dialogue will be established with local communities.

Samrasta Sankalp Rath Yatra Detailed Schedule

This Samrasta Sankalp Rath Yatra will complete its first journey from Bhind city to Mehgaon on August 20, where a public meeting and welcome program will be organized at the Mela Ground. The next day, August 21, the Yatra will depart from Mehgaon and proceed towards Gohad, with its halt scheduled at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Gohad.

The detailed program of the Yatra is as follows:

  • August 22: Journey from Gohad to Malanpur, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Malanpur.
  • August 23: Return journey from Malanpur to Gohad, resting at the Government Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Chitora.
  • August 24: Journey from Chitora to Mau, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Mau.
  • August 25: Journey from Mau to Amayan, with rest at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Amayan.
  • August 27: Journey from Amayan to Lahar, with a halt scheduled at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Lahar.
  • September 1: Journey from Lahar to Daboh, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Daboh.
  • September 2: Journey from Daboh to Alamppur, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Alampur.
  • September 3: Return journey from Alampur to Lahar, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Lahar.
  • September 7: Journey from Lahar to Raun, with a halt scheduled at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Raun.
  • September 8: Journey from Raun to Umri, with a halt at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Umri.
  • September 9: Journey from Umri to Bhind, with an overnight stay at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Bhind, before the final stop.
  • September 10: The final day of the Yatra, from Bhind to Ater, concluding with a grand ceremony at the Government Higher Secondary School Boys' Hostel, Ater.

This nationwide Yatra will organize various community programs, discourses, and seminars based on Saint Ravidas's life and philosophy at each of its scheduled stops.
