Administration's Swift Response Ensures Safe Delivery Amidst Flood Crisis

In the challenging flood conditions of the Shamsabad area of Farrukhabad, the administration and health department have once again demonstrated their readiness and efficiency. Amidst the waterlogging crisis, a joint team from these departments not only provided relief to those in need but also safely rescued a pregnant woman, ensuring timely medical assistance and enabling the safe birth of a newborn.

Health Teams Conduct Extensive Rescue Operations

The health department's team continuously patrolled flood-affected villages and the Dhai Ghat route, rescuing approximately 15 pregnant women and relocating them to safe locations. This crucial rescue operation was led by the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Aleem Ansari, along with BCPM Sadhana and BPM Ashutosh Kumar. Various resources, including boats, steamers, and tractors, were utilized to transport the women to hospitals and safe camps.

Administrative Coordination Critical for Relief Efforts

The role of the tehsil administration was paramount in this entire process, fostering administrative coordination and humanitarian efforts. Local Lekhpals and Revenue Inspectors were constantly monitoring the ground situation, while the Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate personally visited the sites to oversee relief operations. Administrative officials emphasized that maintaining inter-departmental coordination to provide essential services to affected families is their highest priority.

Timely Medical Care Saves a Life, Welcomes New Addition

The successful outcome of this proactive approach was evident when Asliman, wife of Arif from South Palani, was transported to the hospital via a 102 ambulance on September 7, 2026. Admitted to the hospital at 2:40 PM, under medical supervision, Asliman gave birth to a healthy baby boy exactly two hours later at 4:40 PM. The newborn weighed 2.53 kilograms. Both mother and child are reported to be in good health at the hospital.

Humanitarian Success Amidst Adversity

The prompt rescue, safe transportation, and provision of adequate medical facilities amidst the difficult flood situation are being hailed as a significant humanitarian success in the relief and rescue operations. The arrival of the little one has brought joy to the family. Relief and rescue operations continue in the region to ensure citizens receive swift assistance in any emergency situation.
