Rotary Club Honors Women's Commission Vice Chairperson for Women Empowerment Initiatives

Balrampur, September 3, 2026 - Mrs. Charu Chaudhary, Vice Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission, emphasized the significant role of the Rotary Club in women's empowerment, self-employment, and ensuring government schemes reach needy sections of society. Speaking at a distinguished ceremony organized by Rotary Club Greater in Balrampur, Mrs. Chaudhary was honored for her contributions.

She highlighted that many women remain deprived of government scheme benefits due to a lack of information. Mrs. Chaudhary urged club members, particularly women Rotarians, to actively identify these women and connect them with the schemes. She stressed that merely providing information is insufficient; assistance must also be extended to help eligible beneficiaries fill applications, complete necessary formalities, and connect with relevant departments.

Mrs. Chaudhary assured Rotarians that the State Women's Commission and the government would provide all possible support in their efforts to disseminate information about employment-oriented and public welfare schemes to the needy, ensuring they receive tangible benefits.
