University Aims for Environmental Milestone

Rishi Galav University, guided by its motto 'From Zero to Summit,' is taking a significant step towards a pollution-free and green city. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the university will host a large-scale tree plantation event named 'Vrukshotav 2026' at its campus located in Bela Gram, on the Sheetla Mata Mandir Road.

The event's objective is to establish a new record for environmental conservation by planting 5000 trees in a single day. According to the university spokesperson, approximately 5000 traders, professors, school teachers, and social workers from the city will collectively participate in this initiative.

Commitment to Eco-Friendly Campus Development

The university is committed to developing its campus in an eco-friendly manner, aligning with its values of ethical education and the Gurukul tradition. In line with this commitment, trees have been selected that purify the atmosphere, beautify the campus, and radiate positive energy.

The trees selected for this massive plantation drive, aimed at environmental purification, will be over 5 feet tall to ensure rapid growth and complete greening of the campus. The chosen species include large trees such as Peepal, Neem, Banyan, and Amla, alongside medium-sized trees like Guava, Mango, Jamun, and Chinese Champa.

Nurturing Future Citizens

Within a year, the university plans for this campus to be recognized among the city's prestigious educational institutions for its greenery and cleanliness. Through this initiative, the university not only reminds society of its moral obligations towards nature but also strives to instill ethical values in future citizens by providing education in a clean and green environment.

A key objective of the university is to prepare citizens who are dedicated and sensitive towards the nation, society, and family. The enthusiastic cooperation of committees and citizens has created an atmosphere of excitement across all sections for the upcoming plantation ceremony this Saturday.

Community Support and Broad Participation

Many citizens are contributing to this noble cause by donating trees from their homes, providing manure, and other necessary materials. Professors, teachers, instructors, and staff from various educational institutions operating under the Madhy Bharat Shiksha Samiti are working with full dedication to make this important event a success.

These institutions include Parvati Bai Gokhale Science College, Madhav College, Madhav Education College, Madhav Law College, Public School, P.G.V. Higher Secondary School, Lakshmibai Smarak Higher Secondary School, Parvati Vidya Peeth (CBSE) School, and Parvati Sports Academy.

Call for Public Participation

To ensure the success of this unique endeavor by Rishi Galav University, established with the aim of reviving the Guru-Shishya tradition, every member associated with the university has extended a heartfelt invitation to the city's distinguished citizens to participate in this event.
