One of the three alleged foreign handlers linked to doctors from Faridabad’s Al Falah Medical College—accused of involvement in the Red Fort blast–linked terror module—had sent 42 bomb-making videos via encrypted messaging apps to Muzammil Ahmad Ganai, investigators have told The Indian Express.
Ganai, who was arrested earlier, is known to be a close colleague and associate of Umar Nabi (36), the man who allegedly carried out the blast.
According to investigators, the identities and exact roles of the three foreign handlers are now under intense scrutiny. Agencies suspect the trio not only guided the module in preparing the improvised explosive device (IED) but also pushed them toward attempting a suicide attack.
Sources in Karnataka familiar with the ongoing Delhi investigation said that agencies are examining whether these handlers have any connection to other recent incidents in India involving a similar DIY (do-it-yourself) bombing modus operandi.
