Schools to Remain Closed on September 26

In response to the incessant heavy rainfall and a red alert issued by the Meteorological Department, the District Administration of Balrampur has prioritized student safety. Following clear directives from District Magistrate Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain, District Basic Education Officer Vikas Chandra Srivastava has issued an official order for a one-day holiday across all schools in the district on September 26.

This directive will apply uniformly to all educational institutions affiliated with the Basic Education Council, Secondary Education Council, as well as boards like CBSE and ICSE. All academic institutions, from nursery to Class 12, will be closed on September 26. The District Basic Education Officer has instructed all school principals and managers to ensure strict compliance with this order.

Special Safety Guidelines Issued to the Public

The district administration has also appealed to parents to exercise extreme caution during this period. Citizens are advised against allowing children to venture outside unnecessarily during adverse weather and heavy rainfall conditions. Particular emphasis has been placed on strictly avoiding waterlogged areas and proximity to rivers and drains.

The administration urges the public to adhere to the guidelines issued by the Meteorological Department and to disregard any misleading or unverified information. To ensure safety, relevant officials have been deployed to continuously monitor compliance with the order, thereby preventing any untoward incidents.
