Rape After Drugging, Blackmail: Case Filed Against Three
A woman in Farrukhabad has accused three individuals of drugging, rape, and blackmail, leading to a police case.

Woman Alleges Drugging, Rape, and Blackmail
A resident of Bibiganj Mehrwan in the Mauadawaja police station area of Farrukhabad district, Uttar Pradesh, has leveled serious accusations against three individuals. The woman claims the accused drugged her, committed rape, took objectionable photos and videos, and subsequently blackmailed her with these materials while issuing death threats.
Following a court order, the police have registered a case against the three accused and initiated an investigation. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the woman stated that approximately one year ago, the accused, identified as Vikas, administered a sedative in a cold drink to her. While she was unconscious, she was allegedly raped, and her photographs and videos were captured.
Threats and Harassment
Upon regaining consciousness, the accused reportedly threatened to defame her using the captured photos and videos. The complaint further alleges that Vikas has been consistently blackmailing her since then. Due to fear and the threat of ruin, the woman initially refrained from informing her husband about the incident.
Physical Assault on Husband and Father-in-Law
When the husband learned of the incident, he decided to complain to the accused's mother. As per the FIR, on February 25, 2026, when the husband approached the accused's mother with his complaint, the accused, including Vikas, Vivek, and Sarla Devi, allegedly subjected him to verbal abuse and physical assault. The woman's father-in-law, who intervened, also sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi.
Continued Threats and Police Inaction Alleged
The woman further alleged that on May 29, 2026, Vikas approached her house and made obscene gestures and threats. Subsequently, on June 4, 2026, the accused allegedly trespassed into her home, issued further threats, and threatened to shoot her husband. The woman also accused the police of not taking swift action in the matter.
Legal Action Initiated
After judicial intervention, a case has been registered at the Mauadawaja police station against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation of this case has been assigned to Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar Yadav.
