During her visit to Delhi, Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Maya Narolia paid a courtesy call on the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Vijaya Rahatkar. The meeting, held at Rahatkar's official residence in Motibagh, New Delhi, involved a detailed and meaningful dialogue on significant topics such as women empowerment, social harmony, and the smooth implementation of central public welfare schemes.

MP Narolia engaged in an in-depth deliberation on the statutory provisions and policies established by the Government of India and the Commission for the legal protection, social self-reliance, and overall development of women. She emphasized how central and state policies are fostering innovation in the self-esteem, gender equality, and leadership capabilities of women at the grassroots level.

Review of Agriculture and Rural Development Plans

MP Narolia also met with the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the effective nationwide implementation of various public-interest schemes related to agricultural development and rural upliftment, with a special emphasis on Madhya Pradesh.
