According to IMD forecasts, regions of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Haryana are likely to receive spells of rain starting from 22 January.

Bihar continues to reel under intense fog, causing major travel disruptions.
Railway officials confirmed that five trains were running significantly late due to low visibility.

The fog has also increased the risk of road accidents on highways.
Uttarakhand: Waterfalls Freeze, Snowfall Alert Issued
