According to IMD forecasts, regions of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Haryana are likely to receive spells of rain starting from 22 January.

Rajasthan: Thunderstorms and Hail in Several Districts

Bihar: Dense Fog Disrupts Rail Services

Bihar continues to reel under intense fog, causing major travel disruptions.

Railway officials confirmed that five trains were running significantly late due to low visibility.

Commuters have been advised to plan for delays as fog conditions persist.

The fog has also increased the risk of road accidents on highways.

Uttarakhand: Waterfalls Freeze, Snowfall Alert Issued

In Uttarakhand, temperatures have dropped sharply, freezing several natural waterfalls and roadside streams.

The state government has issued an alert for fresh snowfall, especially in higher Himalayan regions including Chamoli, Uttarkashi and parts of Pithoragarh.

Tourists have been advised to check road conditions before travelling to hill destinations.
