Rahul Gandhi's Two-Day Visit to Rae Bareli: Inauguration of Development Projects and Public Interaction

Rahul Gandhi Arrives in Rae Bareli for Two-Day Visit

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and MP for the Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency, arrived in his constituency on September 8th for a two-day visit. Upon his arrival from Lucknow Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Congress workers and local residents at various points.

During his two-day stay, Mr. Gandhi will participate in various events in the constituency on September 8th and 9th. As per his pre-scheduled program, he was welcomed by district and block Congress officials at the constituency's entrance in Shivgarh at 3:30 PM today. Subsequent welcomes took place in Halor near UCO Bank and the police outpost in Maharajganj. Regional residents greeted him at Amav Crossing, while local residents and city Congress officials welcomed him at Gol Chowk Saras Hotel, the entrance to Rae Bareli City.

Meetings with Representatives and Public Figures

At 5:00 PM, Mr. Gandhi reached his residence in Bhupiya Mau. Here, he met with representatives of the jewellery business community to understand their perspectives. Following this, he held a meeting with representatives from the newly elected Central Bar Association and other lawyers. He also engaged in dialogue with representatives from the doctors' and chemists' associations and met with athletes and individuals involved in sports. He is scheduled to spend the night at his residence in Bhupiya Mau.

Inauguration of Development Projects and Review Meeting

On the second day, September 9th, Mr. Gandhi will meet with various delegations and visitors at his Bhupiya Mau residence from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Subsequently, he will inaugurate several development projects. After the inauguration of development works from 10:35 AM to 11:25 AM, a review meeting concerning district planning will be held from 11:30 AM onwards. Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma will also be present throughout this program, assisting in monitoring and coordinating the events.
