College in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, was jointly inaugurated by the Community Policing Branch of the Madhya Pradesh Police Department and the Department of Higher Education. Addressing the inaugural session, Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma stated that the current era is characterized by rapidly evolving technology. He urged the youth to proactively develop an advanced understanding of new technologies without waiting for course updates. He also advised students to be vigilant about the practical applications of technology and its potential misuse.
SP Verma motivated the young participants to prepare themselves for future responsibilities starting today. He emphasized the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in the face of technological advancements.
Practical Experience of Legal Procedures
In the initial phase of the workshop, students were made aware of various safety aspects and laws through the 'Creation Dialogue' material and PPTs prepared by the Police Headquarters. In the upcoming stages of the training, students will visit local police stations.
During these visits, they will gain firsthand experience of legal procedures such as the Dial-112 service, crime reporting, FIR registration, investigation methods, charge sheet preparation, and court trials. This hands-on approach aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the justice system.
The initiative also saw the presence of the college's Master Trainer Dr. Ravikant Singh, other professors, and police officers. The session was successfully moderated by Dr. Mohit Dubey. This workshop is considered a significant step towards preparing youth as aware and responsible citizens by connecting them with the law and the security system.
