According to senior state officials, the probe is being led by retired Calcutta High Court judge Justice Ashim Kumar Ray. The panel also includes Chief Secretary Manoj Pant and Home Secretary Nandini Chakravorty, giving it both judicial oversight and administrative authority.
On Sunday, the team conducted an on-ground inspection of the stadium complex, reviewing crowd flow, entry and exit points, barricading, seating arrangements, and overall spectator facilities.
