Police Take Action Against Troublemakers in Ayodhya Nagar, Six Arrested

The Cliff News | Bhopal | October 1, 2026 Police in Bhopal's Ayodhya Nagar station have taken decisive action against six accused individuals involved in drunken fights, disputes, and disturbances in the area. The arrests were followed by their transfer to jail.

These individuals had instilled a climate of fear in the slum settlement and Gujarati Mohalla, leading to widespread anger among local residents. Police had been receiving continuous reports about anti-social elements engaging in drunken altercations and group clashes, thereby disrupting the peace of the area.

Upon receiving the information, a police team swiftly arrived at the scene and apprehended six accused: Raj Thapa, Rahul Bhardele, Ranjeet Singh, Rajendra Pille alias Shani, Tarachand Lodhi, and Chetan Lodhi.

Continued Campaign Against Anti-Social Elements

After completing the necessary legal procedures, all arrested accused were presented in court, from where they were sent to jail. Police officials clarified that this action against anti-social elements will continue to maintain law and order and ensure a sense of security among the public.

This campaign was launched under the directives of senior officials. Under the supervision of Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar and Additional Police Commissioner Shailendra Singh Chauhan, the operation was successfully executed by Station House Officer Inspector Mahesh Lilhare and his team, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-02 Vikas Sahwal.

The police administration has issued a warning that any individual found disrupting peace in the future will not be spared, and strict action will be taken against them under relevant legal provisions.
